Daniel J. Massaro

Architecture is the exploration of the senses.  It is the understanding of how a space works, translating function into form and learning how to organize the elements of the figure such as:  proportion, harmony, balance, materiality, structure and context.  When understanding these elements and their relationships one starts to understand the composition of the whole.  By effectively fusing the exploration of the senses and sustainability we can create a path for architecture to thrive once again, to re-establish its relationship with life.
